As a child, I was raised to always be thankful for what I had, that some were without. That is something I have never forgotten. Most kids bring home stray animals. I brought home people to feed and clothe with the food from my kitchen and clothes from my closet. I've overcome my own struggle with addiction.
I personally understand the struggle with addiction and taking that 1st difficult step. I'll always remember where I came from, where I've been, where I want to go, and to be better today than I was yesterday. I'll always reach out to help others overcome and to be better.
